Verizon revealed the features of the flagship HTC U12

Strangely enough, we were expected the flagship to be named the U12 Plus but here is a brand new surprise for us. Even if HTC sticks to calling it the U12, there are certain advantages to owning one, according to these specifications. Now, the smartphone has been spotted on the website of Verizon. Interestingly, the phone is listed as the U12 however the picture of the U11 is featured. The listing on the website reveals the key details about the internal hardware specs of the HTC's upcoming flagship. New from HTC got a screen 6 inches with a resolution WQHD, made by technology Super LCD, and the body design of the smartphone meets fashion frameless trends. The same Chipset is available on the newly launched premium smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S9 Galaxy S9+, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 etc. "It will sports a 6" Quad HD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) Super LCD 6 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Verizon Open Development specifications listing also says that the phone will feature an LTE Cat. Other expected features onboard include USB Type-C audio, HTC USonic with Active Noise Cancellation, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, NFC and a 3,420mAh battery with fast charging support. It is noted to support only up to LTE Cat 12, which is way below the Snapdragon 845's Cat 18. After the manufacturer, the carrier is the most reliable source of information for upcoming device launches.
