Avengers movies might continue, according to Disney's Bob Iger

With "Infinity Wars", however, it seemed the MCU had met its match in terms of build-up.

During her one scene in "Infinity War", Tony Stark discusses a detailed nightmare he had about Pepper being pregnant, before she assured him there was no child on the way. But we now know that she survives, and what's more, Pepper Potts and Tony Stark will not be alone in the next movie!

Presumably, Iger is referring to a new franchise of team-up crossovers, rather than the individual franchises like Iron Man and Captain America that the MCU is built upon. Is Paltrow referring to the decade that's passed in the real world since the release of Iron Man, or to a time jump at the start of Avengers 4?

Paul Bettany has been part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe from its inception, first providing the voice for Tony Stark's A.I. assistant JARVIS in 2008's "Iron Man", before finally stepping in front of the camera as the android Avenger Vision in 2015's "Age of Ultron". "Infinity War has a must-see factor built on the concept of bringing together of an nearly unimaginable array of top Marvel characters in one enormous cinematic extravaganza", a ComScore analyst had said. I'm guessing we will try our hand at what I'll call a new franchise beyond Avengers, but that doesn't necessarily mean you won't see more Avengers down the road.

The studio has found success not only worldwide, but in India as well with its recent ventures including "The Jungle Book" which was until now India's highest grossing Hollywood film before Avengers: Infinity War. Or it may be a hint of a happy ending *after* some kind of solution in "Avengers 4".

Remember that Doctor Strange said he analyzed 14 million scenarios and there was one where the Avengers won. Looking back at various interviews and appearances Holland made ahead of Infinity War's release, we can't find any instance where the actor gave away details that would constitute spoilers. Also back for more action are Black Panther, the Hulk, Spider-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy and their assorted allies. If it's not the hero they've just seen, it's the one that was teased in the final credits.

"I found the movie to be a bit crowded, overly long, and not enough character development for lack of a better term", says film contributor and arts and entertainment editor of the Shepherd Express newspaper, Dave Luhrssen.
