Battlefield V to be revealed next week

EA officially announced today that the next entry to the Battlefield series is Battlefield V, which will have its live reveal on May 23.

In a new post made to the game's official site, EA provides details on how fans can watch the event as it unfolds. As well as featuring the dev team, the livestream will be hosted by The Daily Show's Trevor Noah.

Although there's no telling exactly what will be shown off during next week's reveal for Battlefield V, it's a safe bet to make that the official unveiling will mostly revolve around a highly polished trailer created to highlight the cleanest-looking visuals developed so far. The marketing's heavy push towards "V" implies a Vietnam setting but rumors have been swirling about it taking place during World War II. Because of this, we suggest not even blinking during the Battlefield V Live Reveal. On May 23, electronic Arts & DICE will unveil your next all-out war journey.

While we don't want to scoop our own reveal, you can bet your favorite Battlefield 1 weapon that exciting gameplay changes are coming. There will be no weapons or tie-in to game progression. Funny, smart, and loves video games? It was codenamed as Battlefield V although the final name of the game appears to be the same as the initial leak.
