The Royal Challengers Bangalore scored a victory over the Sunrisers Hyderabad earlier today.

T20 2018's leading team i.e. Hyderabad had a shocker of a day in the field and conceded 218 runs against Bangalore.

The visitors have a formidable batting line-up in Kohli, AB de Viliers, Parthiv Patel, Manjeet Singh and also Moeen Ali, who was drafted into the scheme of things rather late but justified his inclusion with impressive performances, the latest being his 34-ball 65 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

AB de Villiers said it looked tougher than it actually was but his gravity-defying boundary catch during an IPL match was declared "spiderman stuff" by an awestruck India and Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli. Moeen Ali was handy with bat and ball in the last game, AB de Villiers is in sparkling form, Parthiv Patel has been belligerent in the Powerplay and Tim Southee has been brilliant with his yorkers at the death. Alex Hales (37 off 24) was removed by Moeen Ali. The Protea superstar carved 12 fours as part of his blistering knock and one enormous six after dropping down on one knee and launching a Basil Thampi delivery over the roof of Chinnaswamy Stadium to the delight of the crowd.

Brought into the playing XI in place of a rested Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Thampi was expected to help Sunrisers keep RCB's unsafe batting order in check. Hales who has earlier got two lifeline was finally dismissed after AB de Villiers pulled off a stunning one handed catch to dismiss the England batsman. De Villiers (358 runs) is next to him, although he has played two games less than the Indian. Now, after the win against SRH, they are still in the hunt and have escalated to the number 5 spot in the points table. Southee toook the 9th over, Williamson smashed two boundaries off it. Moeen Ali returned for the 10th over, Williamson got two boundaries off the first two balls, the third one was sent for a six, 17 runs came off the over. Thampi came for the 16th over, Grandhomme went for a boundary, soon he went for a bigger shot, a clean six.

The catch is truly fantastic and netizens couldn't stop comparing AB de Villiers to all fictional superheroes in existence.

SRH's star bowler Rashid Khan once again displayed tremendous bowling as he registered the match figures of 4-0-27-3. De Grandhomme and Sarfaraz's adventurous, if not risky, stays rewarded RCB with 70 runs off the last five overs.

New Zealand all rounder Colin de Grandhomee then used long handle as he scored 40 runs in 17 balls to take RCB's total past 200 runs.
