The 4.2 patch notes will be released along with the update as the server downtime kicks into gear - so you'll have time to study up while Battle Royale assumes its next form.

Taking to Twitter, Epic Games confirmed the update would be delayed which will affect some of the new challenges, writing: 'We've discovered an issue that's going to delay the release of v4.2'. Due to this delay some quests may not function until the build releases. "Downtime begins at 4am ET (08:00 GMT)". Fresh from his all conquering box-office performance in Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet have been introduced as a limited time game mode in Fortnite.

It was meant to last for a week but has run just a little over that. The downtime usually doesn't last very long so you shouldn't have to wait around too long.

With this Fortnite x Avengers LTM went offline with the release of the v4.2 update, it is a shame that this glitch came into the center of attention so late in the life-span of the LTM.

The new assault rifle variations seem to have showed up on Fortnite Tracker some time ago, with damage ratings and all the other stats you could want shown for both epic and legendary versions.
