Stormy Daniels' lawyer said Thursday that he is almost done confirming the accounts of two women who say they had sex with Donald Trump and then signed secrecy agreements that paid them even more than the $130,000 the adult film star received.
The Office of Government Ethics disagreed with Trump's assessment on the form that the payment was not required to be disclosed and instead should have been reported on Trump's 2017 filing.
The disclosure form, released Wednesday, says the payment's value was between $100,001-$250,000.
Trump had claimed in early 2018 that he had no knowledge of Cohen's payment to Daniels. Reporter: Do you know where he got the money to make that payment?

The meeting between Cohen and al-Rumaihi happened around the same time as a meeting between Qatari foreign minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and former national security adviser Michael Flynn at Trump Tower, sources told The Post. The payment to Daniels was made via a limited-liability company, Essential Consultants, which Cohen had set up in 2016. "It appears that these funds may have replenished the account following the payment to Ms. Clifford", read a summary of findings from Avenatti and Associates. Trump denies having sex with Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford.
The ethics disclosure said Cohen sought reimbursement in 2017 for an expense he incurred in 2016. Mr Apol's letter was released with the Trump disclosures. The President denies the affair, and initially denied all knowledge of the payment, which Mr Cohen has acknowledged was meant to stop her from going public with the allegations.
The hush-money payment to Daniels is reportedly a focus of a federal investigation into Cohen's private finances and business interests.
"We don't know yet" if they will go public, he said, 'and that's a big issue for them'.

Also on Wednesday, the Senate Intelligence Committee backed up the American intelligence community's findings that Russian Federation interfered in the 2016 U.S. election to help Mr Trump.
The form also shows the President's golf courses missed par past year earning $67 million less than before he took office.
Trump's income from the Trump International Hotel in Washington, which has come under scrutiny for being a top choice for foreign dignitaries, almost doubled, from about $20 million in the 2016 report to just over $40 million past year.
