Pauley Perrette has alluded to being a victim of physical assault. "And then I take a deep breath and I go, 'All right, ' you know?"

'If it's school or work, that you're required to go to? You should leave me alone.

Perrette has unfortunately been dealing with negativity in her life for some time, and after recently announcing she was leaving "NCIS", claimed that her decision to quit was based on "Multiple Physical Assaults". Stay protected. Nothing really is really worth your safety.

On Sunday, the 49-year-old star took to Twitter to reveal that she's been sitting on a secret about the goings on behind the scenes of "NCIS" that she's kept to herself for fear of hurting the jobs of the show's crew. But at what cost? "I don't know", she continued. "Just...?" she said, adding that "false" stories are being spread about her.

"No morals, no obligation to truth, and I'm just left here, reading the lies, trying to protect my crew".

Alluding to issues with her co-star, Mark Harmon, she noted that she has been trying to remain calm.

A few hours later, she followed up with another tweet, wondering aloud whether she was doing the right thing by keeping quiet.

"It makes me sad to imagine a world without Abby in it", she told CBS Sunday Morning last month.

Her publicist has since confirmed the tweets do indeed belong to Perrette, though she will not be commenting on the matter again. "He did it, ' she told her fans without saying who 'he" was. She was granted a restraining order in 2004 against her ex-husband, actor-musician Coyote Shivers, after she said he put her through physical, emotional and sexual abuse during and after their marriage.

The actress who formerly played Abby Sciuto revealed just enough insight regarding her exit, but not enough to expose her abuser.

Perrett's last appearance on the show, as goth scientist Abby Scuito, aired on May 8. "And I say, 'thank you, ' and I say, 'I love you, guys, ' because I do".

CBS has yet to comment on Perrette's tweets.
