While director Remo D'Souza confessed that there was vast pressure on him to take the action franchise forward, leading lady Jacqueline Fernandez, expressed that she owes everything to Salman since their film Kick proved to be a major turning point for her.

With Salman Khan in the lead of the film, the movie also casts Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Saqib Saleem. The first two instalments - Race and Race 2 were directed by Abbas - Mustan. That film didn't get made and they got down making to Race 3, which came as a surprise.

Asked again about why the dance film with D'Souza was shelved, the superstar said, "So, first I worked with Munni (Harshaali Malhotra in "Bajrangi Bhaijaan") then with Matin (Rey Tangu in "Tubelight")".

"I heard the script of the film two years ago". It was a hard genre for me to do, I wanted few changes. "Yes, Remo, Jackie, Daisy and I were doing another film together, but that script was not ready". Bollywood films traditionally release a day earlier in the UAE. Bhai's addition to the third part of the super hit action movie franchise "Race" had added a lot of buzz for Race 3.

While Salman remains the highlight of the trailer, in a press conference he says every character in the film is important.
