Actor Vince Vaughn arrested for DUI, resisting arrest

A male passenger was also arrested on charges of obstructing officers and public intoxication.

Vaughn, 48, was busted early in the morning in Manhattan Beach after failing a field sobriety test that was captured with officers' body cameras, Sergeant Tim Zins said. He was arrested in Manhattan Beach, which is about thirty minutes from Los Angeles. Police employee Nisha Bhagat told the Associated Press that Vaughn has since been released from custody. He was held on a $5,000 bail at the police station, and now reportedly both men are free.

In 2001, the actor was arrested after a bar fight in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Vaughn is known for his roles in such film's as "Swingers" and "The Wedding Crashers" and "Hacksaw Ridge". If he's charged, this would be the actor's first DUI offense.

There is nothing that indicates Vince Vaughn's arrest or release was handled any differently than any other person's arrest.

Vaughn's representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
