During their E3 press conference, Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls: Blades for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

Considering this, it seems highly unlikely that The Elder Scrolls 6 will launch for modern consoles, which means PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are likely out of the question. They were released in 1994 and 1996 respectively, and had first-person gameplay with attacks dealt by clicking and dragging the mouse about the screen. "It's a game we've been making for a while", Howard told Geoff Keighley in an interview.

We know literally nothing beyond the fact that it's being made, and probably still several years out. "It harks back to the Arena, the first Elder Scrolls game in 1994", said Bethesda's Todd Howard. The game will be playable in landscape and portrait modes featuring "console-quality graphics". "There are still two major, multi-platform releases that the team has to work on first, and so TES6 isn't happening until those games happen", Hines said in a PCGamesN interview.
