Just saw a extended demo of Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay and loving what I saw.
According to Game Informer's Andy McNamara, who has had a hands-on demo session with Cyberpunk 2077, the project is an "open world FPS RPG". Night City is a world of incredible detail and from what we've seen so far it looks truly alive. It's not clear how this system will be enforced, but CD Projekt Red says your street cred can be raised by wearing certain clothing. You can choose your gender, a life path, adjust your appearance, hair, tattoos and select from a range of skills and attributes. As you progress, you'll develop skills in urban warfare and network hacking, as well as modify your body with cyberware like infra-red eyes or neural reflex boosters. As is the cyberpunk way, the city is run by corporations and crime.
In Cyberpunk 2077, player exploration will only be gated by their "street cred", a number that determines which areas you'll have access to, among other things.More news: Tea towels can cause food poisoning

CD Projekt Red also made mention of the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 will feature the studio's "hallmark of choices and consequences" suggesting that each utterance and action will have weight in the grand scheme of the story. However, doing so doesn't manifest itself in the form a of a choice at the start of the game. "At launch we're concentrating on the single-player game". Then again, going against the grain to do what works for you is the most cyberpunk thing of all. Featuring CD PROJEKT RED's trademark storytelling system driven by choice and effect, in Cyberpunk 2077 players navigate the streets of Night City along strongly contrasting paths to arrive at one of a range of story outcomes.
