ESPN Insider Says LeBron James Will Meet With Warriors This Offseason

After acquiring Kyrie Irving from the Cleveland Cavaliers last summer, there is reportedly some anxiety within the Boston Celtics' organization that Irving will leave via free agency in 2019.

"I believe that he could have been very, very good for us in the postseason". Making matters even worse is the way in which the Cavs lost Game 4 in what is considered by some as one of the least competitive title-deciding contests in NBA Finals history. They were a lot younger the last time I made a decision like this four years ago.

With the Golden State Warriors on the brink of sweeping the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals, the topic of LeBron James' future is already intensifying.

ESPN's Stephen A. Smith listed the Celtics as one of seven teams James would consider signing with.

"You know things can change", Mannix offered. "You know, and just going into this year with the mindset of trying to win a championship".

Sheridan is pretty plugged in and he's certainly has the credentials, I just don't know how you can write someone is leaving and have no idea where they're going. Among the notable pieces shipped out were Isaiah Thomas, who had never found a groove since arriving, while injured, from Boston, and Dwayne Wade, who was scoring just 11 points a game, half his career average, in Cleveland.

Shams Charania, another National Basketball Association reporter for Yahoo, said, "I know Kyrie Irving's mindset when the trade happened was 'Boston is my home for the foreseeable future'".

Irving has become the face of Boston. Teamed up with LeBron and Kyrie (Irving) and all those guys that won on the 2016 team. If James goes to another team, the Cavs will want that pick to land inside to kick-start a rebuild.

"Obviously, from a talent perspective, if you're looking at Golden State from their top five best players to our top five players, you would say they're stacked better than us", James said.

Once Irving is 100 percent healthy and makes his return from knee surgery, Rozier will be back to his role of coming off the bench in Celtics head coach Brad Steven's lineup.
