Fan rushes to scene of XXXTentacion's death

The 20-year-old was pronounced dead at nearby Broward Health North hospital.

On Tuesday morning, workers continued building a 6-foot (2-meter) wall around the property of the newly built home where XXXTentacion lived in Parkland, the same suburb of Fort Lauderdale where a gunman fatally shot 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in February.

His real name was Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy.

Following the shocking news, XXXTentacion's friends and fellow musicians took to social media to pay tribute to the young rapper. He was shot earlier Monday outside a Deerfield Beach motorcycle dealership.

Now, Broward Sheriff's Office have confirmed they are looking for two suspects who confronted Onfroy before 4pm yesterday.

Rapper XXXTentacion was shot and killed during an apparent robbery in Broward County in Florida in the USA, police said. XXXTentacion was facing numerous felony charges and was involved in a number of feuds, but it was not known that his life was in danger.

XXXTentacion is now awaiting trial for domestic violence charges against his pregnant girlfriend.

His single "SAD!" had been listened to more than 173 million times on YouTube, and reached the top-10 of the Billboard Hot 100 list.

The "Look at Me" rapper, who'd recently been freed from house arrest to tour in support of his Billboard-topping sophomore disc ?

Last month Spotify backpedaled on a planned anti-hate policy to remove XXXTentacion's music from its playlists, along with R. Kelly.

Eyewitnesses told the publication that they heard multiple shots fired, after which the rapper "appeared lifeless with no pulse".
