The 56-year-old actress was charged with two counts of misdemeanor battery on an officer and emergency personnel, Ventura County Sheriff's Office records show.

The "Melrose Place" actress was reported to have been taken into hospital after a family member called 911 over concerns the star was threatening to take her own life. When police arrived, Heather allegedly punched the responding police officer who was trying to keep her separate from her family members. She also reportedly kicked an EMT while being placed on a gurney. She was taken into custody around 11:30 p.m., and she has a court hearing set for Tuesday. She's being held on $20,000 bail.
