Agent 47 may have wowed us all with the premiere trailer for his latest game, but it's in the Hitman 2 Collector's Edition where the chrome-domed assassin has hidden his best tricks of the trade.

There'll also be a franchise first co-op mode in the form of Sniper Assassin. Available to pre-order now, the bumper special version of Hitman 2 not only comes with an extra expansion exclusive to both that and the Gold Edition, but, bizarrely, a rubber duck to use both in-game and out in the real world.

IO Interactive's follow up to 2016's Hitman is Hitman 2.

Hitman 2 will feature "hyper-detailed sandboxes full of living, breathing environments".

Continuing the ultimate spy thriller story, Hitman 2 allows players to take on the role of the masterful Agent 47 and embark on a mission to hunt the elusive Shadow Client and unravel his militia once and for all. "Sun-drenched streets" and "dark and risky rainforests" are also on the cards, with multiple paths and methods to adopt.

In addition to the base game, there is now a standalone mode that two players can tackle cooperatively named Sniper Assassin, but players are welcome to try it solo as well. It will be $59.99 for the standard edition, $79.99 for the Silver Edition and $99.99 for the Gold Edition. Players can also pre-order the game on Steam which will grant you an instant access to the stand-alone online co-op mode Hitman: Sniper Assasin.
