Social media app Instagram announced Wednesday that it would be increasing its time limit for videos posted on its platform from one minute to 10 minutes, as part of a general expansion of the app's video capabilities.

What makes this app different than Youtube is the native support for vertical videos as opposed to landscape video. Try to turn your mobile to landscape mode and nothing will change.
After rumors which just would not die Instagram has today taken the wraps off of IGTV, a standalone app for smartphones which is aimed at providing a home for long-form, vertical videos. It's not available this minute, and you'll be able to consume IGTV from within Instagram, but if you want only IGTV content, it's coming.
