Naturally, fans without Tidal subscriptions were upset because the album was unavailable on more widely used services, like Spotify or Apple Music.

Beyonce on "Everything Is Love" sounded unperturbed by her absence on Spotify, at least for her Grammy-nominated "Lemonade".

The record was released exclusively on TIDAL over the weekend, after being surprise-announced at the pair's London Stadium show on Saturday night.

So far Everything Is Love has had positive reviews; with The Daily Telegraph and The Times both giving four-star verdicts.

Jay-Z is an outspoken supporter of Colin Kaepernick, the now-unemployed quarterback whose kneeling protest against racial injustice during the national anthem has triggered angry denunciations by President Donald Trump.

"I said no to the Super Bowl, you need me, I don't need you". And he confirmed that he turned down the Super Bowl Halftime Show, saying: "I said no to the Super Bowl / You need me, I don't need you/ Every night we in the end zone / Tell the National Football League we need stadiums too".

Additionally, West affirmed that they'd been making amends during his discussion with Charlamane, noting "We good", adding, "We texting each other, positive energy". Bey and Jay'z non-album track "SALUD!" is apparently still a Tidal-exclusive.
