Kim Kardashian responds to Kanye West rapping about their marital drama

The reality starlet explained her emotional reaction to her rapper hubby's song Wouldn't Leave, where Kanye raps about her reaction to his now-infamous slavery comments on TMZ, saying: 'I cried because it is a lot of what we went through'.

The New Jersey native goes on to say that "Ghost Town" nearly didn't make the album's final cut. "He was going to come, and he wanted to come, but I'm staying a few extra days in NY".

"And we did a review of programs and decided we're going to continue our old programs, and also add some new ones contributed by the community", said Donnie Smith, executive director. "At the end we were talking and asking, "Is this the one right here?' And I kind of mentioned "Ghost Town" and said maybe we could use something from that".

But Kim Kardashian had different feelings during Monday's CFDA awards, where she admitted she was brought to tears by one of the songs on husband Kanye West's new album Ye while talking to Extra.

Kim said: "I'm so happy that it's been well-received because I've seen him go through a lot and he's just the most genuine person. It's fascinating to see the process".

Kardashian arrived at The Brooklyn Museum to scoop up her award in a high-neck crop top with a scoop back and a matching white maxiskirt by fashion's favorite long-haired experimentalist, Rick Owens.
