At this point, Respawn did not confirm which platforms the game will be released on or if the game is single-player or multiplayer.

Zampella added that the game will be set during the "dark times" between Episode III and Episode IV of Star Wars.

Video game stories from other sites on the web. Zampella played it coy but did reveal a few teasing details including the name and a launch window. The previously untitled game is officially dubbed Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order and will hit store shelves during the holiday 2019 season. You'll be playing as a Jedi and of course, able to wield a lightsaber.

Zampella teased the title is now scheduled for release in late 2019, with more details to come at next year's E3.

The studio first announced the game previous year.

We know nothing else about the game, even what genre it is in (although, Respawn being the developer does mean it's likely a first-person shooter).

What's interesting is that the team at Respawn that's working on this new game is being led by God of War 3 Game Director Stig Asmussen. EA's acquisition of Respawn was said to be in pursuit of a new Titanfall game, but there haven't been any announcements or leaks about that one yet. "And we, like you all, have no shortage of Star Wars passion".
