Liam Payne, girlfriend Cheryl Cole split after two years together

The 35-year-old singer and former One Direction member, who allegedly broke up two weeks ago, have a one-year-old son named Bear together.

Cheryl Cole has made a pretty telling change on social media following news of her split from Liam Payne.

And Cheryl has seemingly turned to her girlfriends for support during the hard time as the beauty was accompanied by her nearest and dearest when she announced the split on Twitter on Saturday night.

The former Girls Aloud singer wrote: "I hate responding to stuff esp at such hard times but I can not sit here and listen to such nasty, false articles regarding my mam".

Cheryl, who is 10 years his senior, tells him: "I like you, I think you're really cute". Some fans commented on the post to wish the couple the best during this hard time, while countless other fans used the opportunity to celebrate the fact that the One Direction star is single yet again.

SHE'S no longer living with Liam Payne, but Cheryl won't budge from his £5million home.

Fans had speculated that Cheryl's close relationship with her mother got in the way of her romance with Payne. The British couple share one son together, Bear, who was born in March 2017. "A day that now has a different meaning to me forever".

He wrote on Instagram: "Our family is the most important thing in our lives, and we tried everything we could for many years to make this work".

We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways.

But the insider added: "They couldn't recapture the old spark - it was nearly awkward to be in such a romantic place when the relationship was on rocky ground".

The pair attend the Brit Awards together and put on a very public display of affection in response to reports that they are going through problems.
