Well, Earlier today OnePlus promised owners of the 3 and 3T the unexpected: Both phones will be getting Android P, but at a cost. However, to everyone's surprise, and to the credit of OnePlus, the company promised owners of the OnePlus 3 and 3T an upgrade to Android P.
In the official statement, it has been revealed that both phones won't receive an update to Android 8.1 Oreo as resources are now directed at the Android P project. OnePlus has not shared any response as to whether the company will roll a future update to fix the issue. This meant that the best a device like the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T would see was Android Oreo. Reportedly, OnePlus 6 users who now have OxygenOS version 5.1.8 running on their phones are facing flickering screen issue on the adaptive brightness mode, especially while running apps and browsers with white background or vivid colours.More news: Shark returned to San Antonio aquarium after video shows brazen theft
