Warning: The very nature of this post is a potential spoiler for Avengers: Infinity War.

If you haven't seen Avengers: Infinity War stop reading now.

The subreddit r/thanosdidnothingwrong (firstly, wow, not cool) is now home to 625,584 users, but half will be banned with a click of a mouse button.

The extinction-level event is apparently slated for Monday, with Reddit having signed off on the gag, according to Nerdist.

On July 9, the mods of the subreddit randomly selected half of the subscribers to ban after receiving permission from Reddit admins. Also, to make it even more glorifying, the moderators have reportedly asked Thanos himself, played by Josh Brolin, to push the button come July 9, which will take the ban into effect.

At the time of this writing, the Thanos Did Nothing Wrong subreddit has more than 660 thousand subscribers. The announcement was made last week and 4 days ago, the subreddit had almost 300,000 subscribers.

"Here we go, Reddit Users", a shirtless Brolin said smiling before he snaps his fingers. Essentially, the subreddit began as a place for fans to post pro-Thanos memes and pictures. The Infinity War tribute page is now trending and gaining even more attention than it ever though it was going to. If you are one of the lucky users that's chosen, you can join the r/inthesoulstone subreddit support group. Playing off of the popular fan theories for Avengers 4, the Soul World and Soul Stone are new subreddits where everybody who was banned can go and discuss getting turned to dust.

Avengers 4 is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 3, 2019. Jim Starlin, the dude who created Thanos, spoke to Collider during Comic-Con in Las Vegas and revealed about the possibility of an extra 30 minutes of footage that will be packed for the home video version of the film.

One subreddit will soon be perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

Have mercy on me, Josh Brolin.
