Barcelona sign from Bayern Munich

The deal for Vidal has reportedly cost LaLiga titleholders Barca €20million after the 31-year-old was also linked with Serie A outfit Inter.

"FC Barcelona and FC Bayern Munich have reached an agreement for the transfer of player Arturo Vidal".

No transfer fee was given but Spanish media reports said Barca will pay 18 million euros ($21 million), rising to 21 million euros, for the former Bayer Leverkusen and Juventus player.

Vidal scored six times in 47 appearances for Sevilla during the 2014-15 campaign before sealing a move to Barcelona.

"The agreement is for the next three seasons and is pending the medical examination that the player will undertake over the course of the next few days".

The news comes after another Vidal joined Barcelona with Arturo Vidal switching Bayern Munich and the Bundesliga for La Liga.

"These memories give me a lot of strength to take on the world and fight". Vidal is the Barcelona's fourth signing since the end of the last season following the arrival of Brazilian forward Malcolm, Brazilian midfielder Arthur and French defender Clement Lenglet.
