Blizzard Has ‘Multiple Diablo Projects’ in the Works

Blizzard Community Manager Brandy Camel took over the official Diablo Twitter account to deliver the news.

Blizzard has been hiring new employees for their "Unannounced Diablo Project" for more than two years now. As to what these Diablo projects will be? According to Camel, we might get a glimpse at what Blizzard's working on later this year... presumably at BlizzCon in November. Some of them are going to take longer than others.

Blizzard is gearing up for something big with regards to the Diablo series and has been for some time, but we still don't quite know what the developer has been cooking.

The one-minute video also included a mention of Diablo III's current 14th "season" of content and quests, which Camel notes is the company's first stab at a "themed" season. And we have multiple Diablo projects in the works. "None of this would be possible without the support that you've shown us for over 20 years".

BlizzCon 2018 is scheduled for November 2 and 3, and the annual event is the ideal stage for an announcement on the scale of a new Diablo.
