More drama has been reported from the long-running divorce case of one-time Hollywood power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. "Angelina has had to shoulder the majority of those without his contribution for the past two years".

Spiegel also said that Pitt "loaned" Jolie US$8 million to help her purchase her current home and has spent more than US$1.3 million "in bills for the benefit of [Jolie] and the minor children".

In June, Pitt and Jolie's custody battle hit a fever pitch and a judge required Jolie tell their children that the "court has determined that not having a relationship with their father is harmful to them", that they are "safe with their father", and that having a healthy relationship with both parents is "critical".

The custody of their six children, Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox - has been an ongoing issue between the pair.
