Urban stopped at a Wawa in Medford on Friday ahead of his scheduled performance at Camden's BB&T Pavilion, where a local woman stepped up to pay for his snacks, New Jersey 101.5 FM reports.
On Friday, when a customer at the Wawa on Route 541 in Medford, New Jersey, had an issue at the register, she offered to help pay his bill.
"We decided when we saw military people we would treat them at Wawa or Dunkin Donuts or whatever", she said.

"And he said, 'What's your name?' Ruth".
Turned out, she was paying for country music star Keith Urban.
A substitute teacher was shopping at a gas station in New Jersey when an man in front of her was shot a few dollars. "And who was that woman you were with?' He said, 'That's my sister, we can ask her, ' and I said, 'OK, I don't think she would lie to some old lady, '" she said.

A skeptical Reed asked his bodyguard to confirm that he was actually the famous musician.
"And he said 'I am Keith Urban.' And I said, 'No you're not, really'".
Reed admits she took some convincing.

Reed and Urban took a photo together outside of the store. Still, she agreed to keep her word and pay for Urban.
