Samsung launches the Galaxy Note9 with 6.4-inch screen

The new Galaxy Note9 comes with the biggest screen ever on a Note, a 6.4-inch edge-to-edge Super AMOLED 516ppi display (without any notches) said to be great for productivity, multi-tasking and content consumption.

With each Samsung smartphone release, there's a period of time after the announcement during which we have to wait for each carrier to announce pricing.

Yesterday was a big day for Samsung and the Android world.

The device that runs OS Android 8.1 (Oreo) will have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 system-on-chip (SoC) for the USA customers and the models powered by Samsung's very own "Exynos 9 Series 9810" chips will head to the rest of the world, including India.

The Note series has always had a good camera, and it looks like the Note 9 will be no exception to that rule.

Note 8 was a hit model a year ago - post the debacle which Galaxy Note 7 created within the consumer mindset.

The first statement in Samsung's ad is true.

"S Pen is the core of overall Note series experience and Samsung has done improvement on the same which will drive the overall experience and brings in stickiness for note users", Pathak told IANS.
