Drake files extortion lawsuit accusing Instagram model of faking pregnancy, rape allegations

Drake is suing a woman who reportedly made false pregnancy and rape allegations against him in 2017.

The lawsuit goes on to state that Lace was sent home after their tryst, and was furious that Drake wasn't going to take her on the rest of the Boy Meets World Tour with him.

The pair then returned to The Lowry Hotel where Drake was staying, and according to the documents "hung out, talked and watching some television together" before engaging in "consensual, protected sex". Drake claims the woman created a "fantasy relationship" with him, and supplied text messages that he claims support this, which TMZ has posted. It's not possible to know from our vantage point who is telling the truth here, so instead let's just focus on something we can all factually agree on: It's very amusing to read Drake's text messages.

When Drake stopped responding is when things grew worse. After a series of text messages between the two, Lace took to Instagram in April 2017 to say she was pregnant. "So I guess still in this era this is the new thing that after you tell a dude you pregnant they stop answering they phone", she captioned the pic.

According to the lawsuit, Lace then threatened to publicly leak private messages with Drake and others in another post on Instagram.

Drake is now fighting back big, he may have won the battle but he wants to take the war too. Drake responded to the suit, claiming it was all a scam.

"There is no credible evidence of pregnancy, nor any baby, which would have been born last Fall", Drake claims in the lawsuit. Lace also refused to get a paternity test.

"Layla Lace is a former stripper who has spent at least the past year and a half plotting and scheming to-in her words-'make a field day" out of megastar Aubrey Drake Graham's "f-king ass!'" the documents state.

Later that summer, the lawsuit states that Lace went to authorities in NY and accused Drake of raping her that night in Manchester. The rapper was allegedly interviewed by Manchester police and ultimately cleared of any wrongdoing, but Layla wasn't done yet. However, the singer alleges that Layla then tried to extort him once again by asking for millions of dollars in return for her silence.
