Official LG V40 ThinQ teaser confirms the phone has five cameras

As well as LG's official announcement, leaker Evan Blass recently shared images of what he says is the AT&T version of the LG V40 ThinQ.

LG says the V40 ThinQ will have a reinforced glass back that has been treated with a "Sand Blast" technique.

Apart from that, the handset should look the same in the regions LG will release it in.

Earlier this month, LG teased the camera features of the phone.

What we did find out, though, is the size of the phone's screen: It'll be 6.4 inches.

However, the firm did confirm the hardware will come in platinum grey, carmine red and Moroccan blue colour varieties. The three camera setup on the back will include a 12-megapixel F/1.5 lens with 1.4-micron pixels, a 16-megapixel f/1.9 wide-angle lens with 1-micron pixels, and a 12-megapixel F/2.4 2x optical zoom lens with 1-micron pixels.

The main sensor is 40-megapixels, the monochrome is 20 megapixels and the telephoto is 8-megapixels.
