OnePlus 6T teaser shows all-screen design, in-display fingerprint sensor

The new teaser also reveals the same and comes with the tagline "Unlock the Future". However, this will all change with the OnePlus 6T as the device will have an on-screen one. We get to see the same two colors that the OnePlus 6 launched in: Mirror Black and the frosty Midnight Black glass backs. The pictures posted on the site showed a white coloured box with OnePlus 6T written over it and inside the box, there was a blueprint image of the phone. Some of the in-screen fingerprint sensor compatible phones are Vivo Nex, Vivo V11 Pro, Vivo X21, Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition, Huawei Porsche Design Mate RS and Oppo R17 among others. This time, the Chinese manufacturer is adding an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The OnePlus 6T and its entourage of accessories will be unveiled on October 17 (Wednesday two weeks from now). In nearly all the teasers, the company is emphasizing on the in-display fingerprint sensor that the 6T will come with, which is also said to be the USP of the phone. Also, OnePlus for the first time will introduce the OnePlus 6T with T-Mobile carrier contract deal in the US. The OnePlus 6 which launched in June this year was priced at Rs 34,999. The earphones will be available through offline and online channels after launch. The OnePlus 6T is likely to ship with Android 9 Pie OS with Oxygen OS 9.0 to offer the latest OS from Google. The smartphone may feature a large-sized screen of 6.4-inches with an aspect ratio of 19:9. Though the notch area in the OnePlus 6 is among the smallest when compared with other notch screen-based smartphones, it would be trimmed even more and reduced to a size of a big dot, enough to accommodate just the front camera. Talking about storage, the device is expected to have 8GB of RAM and OnePlus might offer a 512 GB storage variant of the smartphone as Apple is offering this storage capacity with their latest devices.
