Meghan Markle, who is expecting her first child, is reportedly cutting back on some of her events during her tour through Australia, leaving Prince Harry to go solo on some events.

After a storm delayed the opening ceremony on Saturday night, Meghan decided not to attend the race with her husband and instead rest back at Admiralty House where the couple have been staying.

Meghan, who returned to the Games a year after her public debut with Harry, wore a black Emilia Wickstead Dress.

The former "Suits" star is still expected to travel to Fraser Island - which is the world's largest sand island and can be hard terrain for pregnant women - but it is thought she may not take part in as many engagements as originally planned. Royal reporter Emily Andrews spoke to 35-year-old fan Charlotte Waverley, who revealed the chat she'd had with Meghan on Bondi Beach on October 19.

Britain's Prince Harry today opened the Olympic-style Invictus Games for disabled and wounded soldiers at a moving ceremony on the forecourt of Sydney's Opera House, after an intense thunderstorm forced an hour-long delay.

A royal source said the duchess was "not sick, just tired", and was keen to take part in everything.

"She said she was up at 4.30am this morning doing yoga in her room as she couldn't sleep".
