Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg fractured three ribs after she fell in her office on Wednesday night.

RBG's office says she fell Wednesday night while in her SCOTUS office, and even went home thinking she was fine - but, after experiencing some pain overnight, the Justice made a decision to go to George Washington University Hospital Thursday morning. She has also reportedly hired law clerks through 2020, sending the message that she plans on sticking around. "Tests showed that she fractured three ribs on her left side and she was admitted for observation and treatment".

Ginsburg joined the court in 1993.

The Republican president was scheduled to go to the court on Thursday for a formal ceremony seating Kavanaugh.

The 85-year-old justice, a heroine for liberals, has vowed not to retire while President Donald Trump is in office. She later apologized for what she said were inappropriate remarks.

But she has never missed Supreme Court arguments.

Ginsburg has grit and determination, and I only wish she applied that to upholding the plain text and original meaning of the Constitution, rather than toward twisting it to fit liberal Progressive pipe dreams.

There's precedent for her lengthy service, as Justices Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. and John Paul Stevens were both 90 when they retired. "I hope she has a full and speedy recovery".
