Samsung, which was expected to be the first smartphone maker to unveil a foldable smartphone was beaten by Royole, a startup that launched the FlexPai, a foldable smartphone. Samsung calls it an Infinity-O display, which will replace the notch with a hole within the display to host the selfie camera and other sensors. The invite clearly shows the small punch hole-style hole on the top left corner that will house a selfie camera.

Samsung just recently announced the launch date of its first Infinity-O toting Galaxy A8s yesterday on Chinese social media. It is quite interesting that neither of the two companies opted to center that camera, keep it in the upper portion of the phone, but put it in the middle of the phone, instead of the left side, but there you have it.
However, we now have some freshly leaked live images of the upcoming Huawei Nova 4 smartphone shared by Ice universe on its Twitter account via ITHomes. Notably, the LCD panels on both the Galaxy A8s and the Nova 4 are made by BOE. An LED flash is expected to be included below those three cameras, and those cameras will protrude on the back a bit. It will also come with a USB Type-C port and might be Samsung's first device to ditch the headphone jack.

As per past reports, the Galaxy A8s will get a 6.39-inch screen and will be powered by a Snapdragon 710 chipset coupled with up to 6GB of RAM. The listing reveals the phone to be running Android 8.0 Oreo.
Samsung and Huawei both teased the announcement of almost all-screen phones with a circular cutout for the front-facing camera before the end of the year.
