‘Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’ Joker from ‘Persona 5’ Announced as First DLC

During The Game Awards 2018, Nintendo officially pulled back the curtain and revealed that the first character to join the roster as a DLC character is Persona 5's Joker.

When we heard that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which will include four other fighters in the near future.

Representing the first Atlus (and third Sega) fighter in the series, Joker was announced in a stylish animated trailer straight out of P5, with the red-tinged background and his fellow Phantom Thieves chiming in as the gang "hacked" The Game Awards to deliver the announcement.

The addition of Joker from Persona 5 brings the confirmed roster for Super Smash Bros. No date was given for the launch of the character.

Smash Ultimate 's director, Masahiro Sakurai already revealed that the DLC characters for the upcoming Switch title has been decided on already so it's likely that the rest of the fighters are already in development.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will release on December 7, 2018.

I don't know if this is a Japanese thing, since that's we're a lot of them are made, but it just seems weirdly off-puting for a genre that is already pretty niche.
