Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey ignored Gareth Bale's plea to join him at Real Madrid and will instead move to Juventus when his contract with the Gunners expires.

The 28-year-old hasn't always covered himself in glory during his 11 years at the Emirates but the most disappointing thing about losing the player will be the fact it is a free transfer. This number will make him the club's second-highest earner only behind newest recruit Ronaldo.

Ramsey has always been associated with a move to the Old Lady after his negotiations for a new contract broke down with current club Arsenal.

Reports have suggested the move could be brought forward, but Emery expects to have Ramsey at his disposal for the remainder of the season.

With Ramsey's future still up in the air, Arsenal boss Unai Emery may opt to leave him on the bench for the visit to West Ham on Saturday.

Having joined from his hometown club Cardiff City for £4.8 million in 2008, Ramsey has scored 62 goals in 354 appearances for Arsenal and won the FA Cup in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
