Cute Google Doodle kicks off New Year's Eve celebrations

Clicking on the doodle will take you to the places where people across countries are waiting for New Year 2019.

As the world is celebrating the New Year's eve today, internet giant Google doodle designed the page with animated purple elephants. In the doodle, Google users will see mammoth pile of balloons, a number of party hats and two friends (actually Elephants) celebrating the eve in their own fashion. We'll sing that song "Should old acquaintance be forgot", but there's no need to worry about our purple friends.

New Year celebrations have been started all over the World.

While the company's logo is seen in the decorations above the clock with one letter each in the semi-circular streamer, the wall clock itself marks the second "o" in "Google". While it is known as New Year's Eve in the Gregorian calendar, some also refer to it as Old Year's Day or Saint Sylvester's Day.
