After being taken off of the court on a stretcher Tuesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Nerlens Noel has been diagnosed with a concussion, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

That blow appeared to knock Noel out cold, because he fell straight to the floor, and didn't try to brace himself. He was later taken to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he underwent tests and was kept overnight for observation.

Thunder head coach Billy Donovan told reporters after the game that Noel was transported to the Oklahoma University medical center, but did not have further updates on his condition.

Continues Wiggins, "I look right through him".

After the play occurred, Thunder guard Dennis Schroder confrontationally approached Wiggins and other Timberwolves players as he felt the elbow was intentional because Wiggins did not stay with Noel.

The incident overshadowed Wiggins' season-high 40 points and 10 rebounds in the Wolves' 119-117 victory.

"I just tried to make an aggressive move and dunk", Wiggins said. The play was reviewed, and no additional fouls were called. "He was acting insane for no reason", Wiggins appeared to say. Westbrook was fouled on the next possession, sunk two free throws before two game-winning 3-point attempts at the buzzer. "So the more he's around I think the better it is for all of us, just because of what he represents and what he's about". "I hope he gets healthy soon and comes back stronger".

"I'd like to clarify what I said tonight during my post game media session", he wrote.

He also spent a year with the Dallas Mavericks before joining the Thunder in July 2018 on a two-year contract.
