Bill Cosby’s Spokesman Says the Comedian Thinks Prison Is an ‘Amazing Experience’

Just yesterday we posted that Bill Cosby is reportedly having an "amazing time" in prison and it's seemingly because he thinks he's a political prisoner, not a sexual predator.

Wyatt told WCAU, an NBC affiliate in Philadelphia, "Yeah, he used the term unbelievable experience". Wyatt said that Cosby's many fans from around the world have sent him money to spend in jail.

In his interview, Wyatt painted Cosby as a man doing the best he can under the circumstances.

And Wyatt had some updates on what that experience is like for the 81-year-old, who is four months into a 3- to 10-year sentence for sexual assault. He also adheres to a strict diet; avoiding carbs and sugar. "She has not visited him". However, Cosby does speak to Camille three times a day for three minutes a call - the maximum amount of time he can spend on the phone.

Since Cosby was admitted to the prison, he has undergone a transformation.

"My political beliefs, my actions of trying to humanize all races, genders and religions landed me in this place surrounded by barb wire fencing, a room made of steel and iron", the disgraced comic said in the statement released Wednesday by his spokesman Andrew Wyatt.

"And he hasn't drank any coffee since he's been in there". Now the amusing part about it (is) Mrs. Cosby's been trying to stop ... drinking coffee for 55 years and it took this to stop him from drinking coffee. He added that Cosby is "mentally strong" and had long prepared himself for being in prison because he felt the district attorney was out to get him. Last week, the spokesman noted that Cosby has little interaction with the facility's other inmates.

"He does not eat in the area with other residents, he does not have a cellmate, and he does not exercise with other residents", Wyatt told CNN. Cosby must be in his cell and accounted for seven times a day while at the prison.
