Cardi B deletes Instagram account hours after winning Grammy Award

Cardi deactivated her Instagram due to the volume of comments following her win.

The 26-year-old rapper became the first female artist to win the Best Rap Album honour at Sunday's ceremony, and it appears the hip-hop world is far from happy. Cardi explained in a deleted video. Before she quit the social media platform, Cardi reportedly went on a rant, saying in a video, "It's not my style for people to put other people down to uplift somebody else". It was scheduled to be co-headlined by Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.
