Disney's 'Frozen 2' fires up a fun first trailer

Disney dropped the first teaser for the highly-anticipated sequel to Frozen, the blockbuster family hit that became a phenomenon when it hit theaters in 2013 and went on to make over $1.2 billion worldwide.

Elsa is apparently still honing her powers that allow her to control and create ice, spending the first beats of the trailer trying to not only walk on water, but run across the seas.

The film features the voice talents of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, and Josh Gad. Songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez return to provide the music.

While the Frozen 2 trailer reveals next-to-nothing about the sequel plot, it does tease a darker, more mature, and action-oriented direction for the sequel.

We're been waiting YEARS for this!

It scored two Oscars and is still listed as the highest-grossing animated film EVER, while also taking the #13 spot for biggest movie of all time. The title inspired a global frenzy for Frozen merchandise, spin-offs, and a Broadway musical.

"Frozen 2", which hits theaters November 22, also brings aboard newcomers, including Sterling K. Brown and Evan Rachel Wood.
