Donald Cerrone Claims Conor McGregor Fight Planned For Summer, Expects Knockout

UFC Lightweight contender Donald Cerrone has said that he is set for an interim title fight with former champion Conor McGregor.

However, Khabib has revealed that the Boxing Federation of Russia made him an offer to fight at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow this summer.

Standard for Cerrone. He has been perhaps the fighter most ready to fight anyone at any time for the past several years.

McGregor is now banned from fighting after the Nevada Athletic State Commission (NSAC) gave him a six-month backdated ban for the role he played in the post-fight brawls that marred his UFC 229 loss to Nurmagomedov.

Current 185-pound titleholder Whittaker (20-3 MMA, 11-2 UFC) puts his belt up for grabs against Kelvin Gastelum (16-3 MMA, 10-3 UFC) in the event headliner, while unbeaten Adesanya (15-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) meets octagon legend Anderson Silva (34-8 MMA, 17-4 UFC) in the co-main event. "I really am. I'm definitely gonna stand and fight him".

UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov was awarded a nine month suspension and a $500,000 fine for his role in the UFC 229 post-fight brawl.
