Arsenal suffered 3-1 defeat against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday in the Premier League.

Suarez was introduced with 25 minutes remaining and understandably looked well off the pace as his new side were convincingly beaten, failing to register a shot on target during an insipid second half performance.

Gunners head coach Unai Emery chose to bench Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey and January signing Denis Suarez heading into the clash.

A 2-1 win at Bournemouth on November 25 was the last time Emery's side took three points on the road, but Huddersfield looks the ideal opponents after losing 11 of their past 12 league games. "But already from the first day with us, he was already with good performance, but this week he worked Monday with our coaches and also yesterday".

"Each match is also a very big opportunity for us to fight for the possibility to take three points and continue better than how we are doing in away games now".

'Then he can show in the next matches how he can help us, better than in the first match against Manchester City'.

The most recent new face through the door is Barcelona loanee Denis Suarez, for whom Arsenal have a reported (Mirror) £18m option to buy at the conclusion of the current season.

The Gunners looked a pretty average side against the defending champions and it looked like most of the Gunners players were clueless as to what they should do.

"It was my dream to play again with them but unfortunately I didn't see it happening. I work over the criticisms of me because I know that work in the present can change our way", he said.

Emery's men have also lost their last three Premier League away games and have not recorded a win on the road since beating Bournemouth in November past year.
