President Bola Tinubu advocates for a transformative shift in Nigerians’ mindset, urging them to prioritize national prosperity over an obsession with wealth.
In a recent meeting with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), led by Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at the State House in Abuja, Tinubu emphasized the need for a collective focus on economic improvement.
According to a statement by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu stressed the importance of preaching against corruption and related issues. He encouraged CAN to play a role in disseminating messages of tolerance and understanding among Nigerians.
“We have no other country but Nigeria. If you do not preach the sermon of understanding, tolerance, perseverance, and hope for Nigerians, you are damaging the country, and nobody will help us repair it,” Tinubu asserted.
Emphasizing the significance of dialogue, Tinubu expressed that public condemnation doesn’t contribute to being a responsible citizen. He urged Nigerians to shift their mindset, cautioning against making money the ultimate pursuit. Tinubu remains optimistic that with a change in perspective, Nigeria will thrive and fulfill its potential.
